THE PAWFECT MOMENTS SESSION
STEP 2
SESSION DAY HAS ARRIVED!
PLEASE DO NOT BE NERVOUS OR STRESSED! WE DID ALL THE HARD STUFF AT THE DESIGN CONSULTATION & YOUR PET WILL BE AWESOME! THINK OF THIS DAY AS AN OUTING WITH YOUR PET & YOU ARE MEETING A GIRLFRIEND (who just happens to be carrying a camera)!
We will meet at our chosen photography location and I will spend a few minutes getting to know your pet and allowing him/her time to get to know me and get familiar with my camera. I'll have treats, so I will probably be your pet's best friend!
I always take into account your pet's needs. So, if you have a dog that is anxious around strangers, I may spend that initial time simply talking to you, just until your pet gets comfortable with my presence. Your pet may be excited, and it might take a few minutes for him to check out his surroundings. And that is OKAY!
Before we start the session, I will mention the best way to hold your pet's leash and discuss what help I may need from you, such as giving your dog some cues to sit, lie down or wait. Don't worry if your dog is not familiar with these cues, I work with any dogs no matter how well trained. We may walk around the area to find interesting spots for those pawfect moments. I will take a few photos of your pet while searching for an area, and then we will want to get some action shots before he/she gets tired.
Please remember, you should never get stressed about your pet not cooperating, we will not force your pet to do anything he/she doesn't want to do. So please relax and leave the rest up to me.
My main goal during this session is to capture your pet's unique personality, and I am able to do that no matter how he/she acts. Also, do not be surprised if you hear me making some fun weird noises. That is the silly photographer just trying to get your pet's attention. We will use treats, play with his/her toys and have you call his/her name and act silly to capture that pawfect moment.
YOUR PAWFECT MOMENTS SESSION HAS COME TO AN END! BOTH OF YOU CAN GO HOME AND REST FROM THIS AWESOME DAY! YOU & YOUR PET DESERVE IT.
